1. Charging
Your P-Box must be charged before the first use and after any use. To charge pull out the retractable charging cord from the back of the P-Box and plug in to a standard electrical outlet. The power switch must be placed in the upper charge position for the P-Box to charge.
Charging is performed automatically whenever the P-Box is plugged in and the power selector switch is in the charge position. The P-Box may be left plugged in indefinitely during storage to maintain a full charge.
A fully depleted battery may take up to six hours to fully recharge. When charging is complete unplug the cord from the outlet and press the cord retract button on the front of the P-Box to retract the charging cord.
2. Using the P-Box
To power devices portably place the power switch in the power position to turn the P-Box on. Power will now be supplied to the two outlets and USB ports.
When not in use place the power select switch in the off position.
3. Charge indicator LED’s
The P-Box has four charge indicator LED’s located on the center panel of the P-Box. These indicate the approximate charge level of the battery pack. These LED’s will be lit whenever the P-Box is charging or in use.
4. Storage
Before placing the P-Box in to storage charge the P-Box to full or near full, then place the power switch in the off position. Check the charge on the P-Box ever three months while in storage by placing the power switch in the power position and observe how many charge indicator LED’s are lit. If less than three are lit plug the P-Box in and recharge. Ensure the power switch is placed back in the off position. Do not allow the P-Box to become fully discharged in storage.
Alternatively, the charger has an automatic float charge feature so the P-Box can be left plugged in indefinitely with the power switch in the charge position.
